# Installing Sample Dataset in Oracle APEX

## Introduction

In this tutorial, we will learn how to install the sample data set provided by Oracle in Oracle APEX. By utilizing this pre-defined data, you can quickly jumpstart your application development and explore the capabilities of Oracle APEX with realistic data scenarios.

## Steps

* Log in to the Oracle APEX workspace
    
* Click on SQL Workshop
    
* Click Utilities from the landing page
    
* Click Sample Datasets
    
* Click the Install button towards the left of "HR Data"
    
* Click Next
    
* Click Install Dataset
    
* The process may take a few seconds to complete. Once completed click exit and use the object browser to review the database objects.
